Stand By Me
Purpose
Stand By Me is an International not-for-profit organization currently operating in Liberia and the United States of America. The organization was borne out of the compassion the founder has for people, especially women, and children. Many women and children are observed to be deprived leading to many societal problems. The organization is devoted to transforming the lives of women and children and ensuring that their self-worth and potential are obtained through advocacy, empowerment, awareness, and enlightenment of their basic rights and sanitation. Stand By Me identifies deprived women and children and gives them hope. It is aimed at providing the necessities of life and the necessary support to aid children to grow into responsible adulthood while women are supported to be self-sufficient. The objective is to reduce destitute and juvenile delinquencies and make society a peaceful habitat. The motivation to get this organization started compelled the founder, Jenkins Jebleh Jah to start off using organically generated funds. Over time the organization benefited from donors from all walks of life, corporate organizations, individuals, and other benevolent societies. We feel indebted to these donor organizations and individuals and cannot thank them enough due to the kind gestures they showed toward the organization. The help that was received boosted the activities of the organization and resulted in growth. This had brought expansion with more people to care.
